Is it not obvious that this is the first half of a sentence and has been selectively edited to mislead?
I don't have video of the Montana rally, but Sanders has talked about this issue repeatedly at the Fight Oligarchy rallies, and here is what he said in LA:
Certainly, there are many who disagree with this half of the sentence, and that's fine, but it should at least be presented with context.

The correct response is to report as misinformation, not merely to block.

It is about the Hasbara talking point "Israel had the right to defend itself." Nothing else. Bernie needs to stop inserting Hasbara disclaimers to both sides a genocide.
You're so fucking insane with this talking point bullshit. What bernie said is a sentence that stands alone, not everyone is some loser slurping media 24/7 and declaring literal fucking plain english as some uniquely constructed sentence with an exact connotation.
Attack the idea and not the person.
"Israel has the right to defend itself" is the number one excuse used by Israel to commit genocide and the catchphrase Zionists insert in front of every single crime.

The video is a selective edit of a whole sentence that has been manipulated to make a popular politician say something despicable. If you add in the second half of his sentence then we can have an honest discussion. Until then, you have selectively edited the truth to spread a lie.

Did you edit it to be that short before the sentence was complete creating the false narrative or did someone do that for you? If you did it yourself, can you explain why you edited it to be intentionally deceptive when Sanders was communicating the exact opposite idea from your claim?

I turned the sound off and scanned through your linked video. No Sanders in any of that.

It is a one minute short video. It took you more time to write your comment than it would have to listen to it.
It took you more time to find a video than to just say "yes I edited Sanders dishonestly".
You being evasive and dishonest does not obligate me to play along. You were dishonest with your Sanders edit. I asked you why you were dishonest with your edit. Your explanation was more evasion.
If you have a position, you are doing the worst to represent it. Your track record on this is entirely dishonest. I can't trust anything your saying.

You've decided that pointing out your lie in your edit somehow is supporting genocide. You should go to the next Olympic games. I'm confident you would win gold in Mental Gymnastics.

Its "defending genocide" to call you out on your dishonest edit? Isn't this what Israel does? Accusations against Israel as a state (irrespective of religion/ethnicity) are met with claims of antisemitism. You're exhibiting this philosophy perfectly. Don't like being called on your dishonesty? Accuse your accuser of something completely unrelated. You are using the Israel playbook of accusing me of genocide when the ONLY thing I've talked about with you this entire time is your dishonest edit of an 8 second clip.
