I agree that electoral politics is over and done for, and that the Democratic party is just as complicit with the fascists in control as conservatives are. But to disregard the movement Bernie started and continues to lead is disingenuous. People want genuine, material change and, if anything, him speaking is drawing massive crowds of those people. Who's to say those same people wont kick off a movement that actually DOES SOMETHING.
If elections don't matter, what's left is surrender to the dictatorship or take arms. If elections don't matter, I don't see why any decision maker would care about any movement started by Bernie or whoever else
Now you're getting it. We are at a critical moment in history, we can either accept the rule of the elites or we can do what was historically done. Rise up or comply
It's not a movement, the entire purpose of this tour with AOC is to keep disenfranchised voters herded within the party so they don't stray too far.
People do want change and they are realizing that change will never come from Democrats, so they throw Bernie out there so give them the illusion that if they stick around long enough there will be change. Just long enough to prevent them from forming outside coalitions, leaving them with no choice but to vote for Democrats, again.
