They will go down in history as the worst GMs in NBA history probably, no way they are at the same level with Patterson (Portland's GM who chose Oden instead of KD) or Bob Bass (Charlotte's GM who picked Kobe than traded him).

Nico and it's not even close. Not only did he make a terrible basketball decision, he broke the hearts of an entire city/basketball fandom, he also betrayed a generational player in Luka and cost Luka like 117m dollars.

Frankly destroying the good will the Mavericks and Mark Cuban have built over decades. Players always talked about how first class the Mavericks were, even how great they treated opposing players. The Mavs will be no players first choice this off-season or any off-season for the foreseeable future.
