The admins were embarrassed to be associated with a podcast and picked a meme they liked
Never made sense to be associated with the podcast once the sub took off, because the vast majority of people on the sub had never once listened to it. I remember people asking why we picked the name chapo trap house.
Genuinely didn't know why the sub was called that until like right before it was closed
