I hope the Tories don't stop coming up with policies just because they've been relegated to the shadow cabinet, otherwise sir Keir might not know what to do and accidentally enact something half decent once a year.

Why must the UK constantly validate all the mockery it receives
Minority or non-governing or opposition, etc. all available. "Oi m8, les callit... 'shadow.'" excited British noises
The idea behind that is that if the ruling cabinet gets yeeted from office by the monarch, there is a functional cabinet ready to replace it.
