Yeah, 200 is a bit ridiculous

The free tier still exists. Soon it will be infested with ads. But they will only make this shift after getting enough people hooked.

I dont hope to find a secure email platform anymore. If i have some info i want to protect i can encrypt it myself before sending, or send it via some secure instant messaging like signal. Email is too hard to make secure, and in he end of the day, the other person youre talking to probably has a gmail or something. Its not worth the hassle imo. There are other ways to have secure communication, outside emails.

I guess they mostly scrape it. To waste resources posting here they have to find a way to make money in doing so. They put bots posting on facebook because they think it increases user engagement. They dont want to increase engagement on lemmy (not that it would work...).

Me? The marginalisation of a group depends on my personal conceptions???

Society marginalises groups, not a single person. Its a cultural phenomenon that affects these groups whether we like it or not.

Right, but the word transfers the marginalization of vegans to 'ai vegans'.

[–] zeca@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 day ago (4 children)

Agreed, and they are also marginalized

Im a proud jet vegan myself, not that i have a choice, but still

Im also a gun vegan, a car vegan, a facebook vegan, an exercise vegan (unfortunately), a windows vegan, ... just not actual vegan.

I feel like thats a bad way to use the word vegan.

Also too ambiguous of a term, could also mean an ai chatbot that pretends to be a vegan person.
