It's going to be less than 4% which includes all food and agriculture. That would include food safety, subsidies and other economic incentives for farmers, and other programs that work to boost food production.

Also, a budget deficit isn't bad. The government creates money (with the press of a keystroke) and issues it by spending it. Just like with physical dollars, as the population and the economy grow more money is needed. Creating too much can create inflation, but growth is normal and healthy. In a sense our government doesn't need our taxes to fund anything- money comes from government spending and ends up in our hands and is then taxed and owed back to the government. Taxes are needed to create value of the dollar and to regulate the account of money in circulation which is what this post about.

When I went to Greece, I was surprised to see footage of the war on TV. In the US we'd never see anything like this. We are really isolated from the reality of what is going on in the world and the consequences of our actions. This makes it easier for our government to create policy that is wrong and immoral.

I like driving in Reef Deckhand shoes, I have a pair without the insoles that I use for manual transmission. They're similar to Vans slip-on's, flat sole and made with materials that aren't too stiff

He sits down at the bar and orders a beer. The bartender wants the money up front but the hippie doesn't have any. So the guy next to him offers to buy, and they start talking and drinking and drinking and talking.

After a while the guy says to the hippie, "come with me to the bathroom and I'll give you a blow job."

Suddenly the hippie jumps off his stool, pushes the guy down, and starts kicking the shit out of the guy.

A couple of other patrons grab the hippie and say "what did he say to piss you off so much?"

The hippie says "I don't know, something about a job"

Pretty disappointing. Sure it's a great GPU and the price is okay but it's not a generational leap forward. Steve at Gamer's Nexus pointed out that the 5090 is so much faster, with more of a performance difference between it and the X080 card than normal.

27% faster and 25% more expensive than the 4090 at 4K.

The review doesn't use DLSS 4 which will have a separate video

This is one of three or four paintings I painted a long time ago. Basically the ball of light in the center is like awakening or transformation. The worker is leaving the suffering of daily life and will join the village on the mountain.

I painted this, the guy with the straggly hair represents predators in society, the babies represent innocent people. There's someone standing outside the door. Sorry for the blurry photo, I didn't have a good camera at the time.

Signalling Theory states that signals with a greater cost are considered more reliable than signals that are easy to create or fake. This applies to colorful feathers on a bird, or a fisherman who is seen bringing in his daily catch every day.
