Another reason I prefer stuff like newpipe and its forks and freetube on desktop is to be able to access my subscription feed with a local one to reduce YouTube account use as much as possible.

Yeah, a non vote is still a political stance, and shows that a large portion of the population doesn't care. It's naive to just lump them in assuming they'd vote against Trump.

Americans has a huge population that is unhinged. These constant attempts to downplay how much of the population is supposedly not supportive of Trump isn't reassuring at when it hasn't made the difference in people world wide being affected.

Rich does make most of their wealth from the working class being convinced to purchase or use their products over other alternatives. I don't think they'd want the working class to consider other brands because of fear of retaliation and rising insurance costs. Ideally brand would be as appealing to as many demographics as possible to increase the potential consumers to make money from than narrow it.

Yeah what of the things that led me to using YouTube logged out was a small thing like getting bunch of video game spoilers if I viewed some videos of a game I was interested in or needed a walk through or tip on.

I like the fork pipepipe since it has sponsorblock and also let's you use a YouTube account only for accessing age restricted videos, since YouTube disabled that for people without accounts.

Only the people who voted matter. Those that didn't were fine with whatever outcome, and can't even be assumed they would have voted the way people wanted them to anyways. Americans wanted this or at the very least completely fine with it.

And that was very responsible of you. Wish more people would be participating in bacon eating contests over actively making the world a worse place. Please play video games and go have harmless fun. It's better for society.

I don't know either. This one of those cases I wish people would elaborate, since I don't know much about waterfox so would welcome more insight into it.

WWII veterans died out and the next generation decided they want to be the Nazis for WWIII and are sieg heiling to their hearts content gearing the population for military special operations to begin.

Would be nice to see global sanctions against the US. Not realistic, but I hope all countries are moving towards significantly reducing American reliance. It'll be a slow process, but needs to be done.

Can only hope they show at the minimum the same type of malicious compliance that South Korea did during their president's attempted coup. But Americans don't seem to value democracy as much, and haven't had to keep fighting for it to have the fire to do such a thing.

Instead of going to the Android community it goes to /c/all when I try to visit while logged into lemmy.ca. I tried logging out and back in to see if that would solve it.
