Does anyone else worry that they'll start using the Niemöller poem as a playbook and then bypass the already-compromised or self-defanged orgs and start grabbing, well, us?

This took a lot of searching to find when I only had a vague memory of really disturbing muppets. It didn't help that the OG muppets had their own disturbing moments.

What's the Marxist take on this?

Is this actually good for western-aligned capitalists? Are they in it for the long con where they take a hit now but can clean up later when a desperate populace sells their homes to BlackRock and allows the reintroduction of indentured servitude in order to afford eggs? Or are the losing factions big and powerful enough to reverse this aberration?

I just read it like "I beat Thailand. The end guy is hard" until just now. Ugh. Still don't know if this will keep me from watching the finale.

Awful open source phone games (not that open source is necessarily bad; I've just had shit luck).

I am looking forward to Metroid Prime 4 and was so jazzed that the trailer showed no significant changes to gameplay.

I was there a few months ago and fancied a drink after midnight. I didn't need a maps app; just followed the sound of drunken Br*tish.

I think everyone who's familiar with a challenging task can see how AI isn't ready to replace the people who do it now. The sensible response to this realization is to generalize to other fields and infer that AI will be shit at them, too. The asshole response is to conclude that AI can excel everywhere outside of one's own field.
