How long do you think you'll be doing this for? Any plans for afterwards?

Yuck, AI voiceover

It's a nice sentiment, but unfortunately we live in a world where public transit infra is scrutinized much harder than roadways. At least with toll roads the extra cost burden isn't passed onto taxpayers who don't drive.

YouTube recommended it to me in my sidebar a few days ago. I imagine the curse word in the title has more to do with the algorithmic suppression than the actual content.

Vancouver doesn't need high speed intercity service, it needs to improve the existing sad excuse for a regional rail network

Support your local journalists! Too many people think news should be free but then complain when they get hit with a paywall or too many ads. Most places don't want to do these things, but they get desperate if donations aren't keeping the lights on.

Quebecers taking a low effort meme post way too seriously is a very Quebec thing to do

Putting probationary in the title is so misleading, most people associate probation with bad performance or punishment. What it really means is "recently hired"

Buddy, this is a meme sub. Don't take it so seriously.

Implying the plane crash never happened is a grotesque insult to the families who lost loved ones on that flight. Go outside.

Show this to any automotive engineer and count how many seconds before they start laughing

This has got to be the widest desire path I've ever seen, but I'm excited to know if anyone has seen bigger. To my knowledge it's been here for at least 15 years.

Lemmings of Canada,

I just found out about the fediverse canvas event.

I have to assume that a Canadian flag with a horribly mangled maple leaf will show up somewhere, but I'm not sure if anyone has decided on a spot yet. ~~There's a large red box growing on the right side of the canvas that we could try to take over but that might be a little ambitious.~~

Just realized that red box is for us! Let's go Canada, I believe in our ability to draw a maple leaf.
