With that constant roaring sound plus the noise of 200 people?
On the plane sound is really audible. From my experience most ppl on airplanes are pretty quiet.

"this is how we've always lived so it's good"
Uh I didn't say that.
This actually doesn't seem too bad. In a way it's like a mini digital detox. I don't really see anything wrong with it. Kinda weird to see ppl here acting like it's "psycho" to try this. Humans haven't had any kind of tech for 99.99% of their history, so kinda of just being alone with your thoughts has been the norm and what we basically evolved with. What's actually "psycho" is thinking that constantly having something entertaining at your call and beckon is normal. To anyone that thinks otherwise, take a deep breath, step back, and really look inward and do some self-crit.
It's only because it seems to be associated with red-pill stuff that ppl here seem to be so annoyed with it. If it was a marxist that advocated this, would ppl really be so upset? I could easily see Breht from Rev Left advocating for something like this. Honestly this just seems like "bad guy does stuff, so I don't like" shit. Once again, the western left is basically just "vibes" and "feels" in a weirdly idealist way.
Whether you think it's true or not at any given moment depends on what narrative you want to support.
Yeah the narrative of "these dumb sand n-words are too backwards to develop complex military operations that completely take us by surprise and reveal to the world our hubris in our own military might and faith in our technology. Yeah we're super racist."
Yeah but the Israelis "always know" that there's gonna be "an imminent attack." I just don't buy it. It's more like they're trying to cover their ass by saying "we didn't get owned! actually we had ALL THE DETAILS!" (which is actually what they are basically claiming).
I dunno, I know his brain is cooked, but this isn't really a good example. It seems more like they were done taking a picture and he decided to go check out the parachute guy. And then they called him back and said "hey we gotta take more pictures." I can understand being annoyed with standing there to take a picture and wanting to get the fuck out.
This motherfucker is gonna be the type that, 20 years from now when the Palestinian cause is accepted by the majority, will say "oh yeah I supported them back then!" Fuck that user, there's no use arguing with them
This is how you lose support for your cause. If you actually care about palestinians, a ceasefire is the only viable option.
More like gain support, you dumbass.
“I’m convinced that many of the very people who supported us in the struggle in the South are not willing to go all the way now. I came to see this in a very difficult and painful way. In Chicago the last year, where I’ve lived and worked. Some of the people who came quickly to march with us in Selma and Birmingham weren’t active around Chicago. And I came to see that so many people who supported morally and even financially what we were doing in Birmingham and Selma, were really outraged against the extremist behavior of Bull Connor and Jim Clark toward Negroes, rather than believing in genuine equality for Negroes.”
From MLK, this is basically you you fucking dipshit.
They clearly meant in the sense that we have evolved to think spiders are creepy/scary.
Using the "evo science" logic, then we are also afraid of strangers, so that reasoning is often used against the "other" so no, it's not baiting but based on actual atrocities committed against those that were seen as "scary." Please don't minimize that.
This post was made in the politics comm. If it had been made in /c/vegan or /c/chapotraphouse or /c/chat it would be read differently. In the context of the politics comm it reads as an earnest statement intended to be read at face value. The choice of venue shapes how the message is perceived. The post reads as a political statement that killing bugs reveals a person to have fascist character.
I call complete cap on that. If anything this sounds like you trying to tone police based on "venue" or some ephemeral construct like that. "Oh I support your right to protest but do it in the rIGhT wAy!!" kinda shit. I see posts in all kinds of comms, including this one, that link behaviors with tendencies. Cuz you know, "everything is political" right? But with this all of a sudden come the "rules/regulations" BS? With all due respect, eff off with that shit.
but this is not an appropriate way to present that view.
Yup white moderate vibes... smh
Like, people have deep rooted fears that are based on actual dangers (and who knows how much of that is rooted in some kind of genetic understanding).
Careful, that's some very reasoning
In my experience they may seem "leftist" but they are at most AOC democrat sheepherders. They're also the type that stopped masking immediately when all those around them stopped. They're the types that wanted to vote for Biden in 2020 cuz "muh harm reduction."
Honestly, fuck gym climbers. The real ones are the ones who dirtbag and climb outdoors. The indoor climbers are just a bunch of liberal PMC motherfuckers that can afford to spend $90 month at a climbing gym. They probably work for some military contractor or some other industry like that and will ultimately side with the fash because they are liberals.
Also, they will also be pretty vain. Just look at the motherfucking dudes who climb with their shirts off in the gym. They do it for the sole purpose of "impressing chicks" smh. Some girls do this as well by basically wearing bikinis while climbing. Which honestly puts off any new climber who's not skinny or "hot." Whatever "salt of the earth" there was in climbing is completely gone and it is now just as commodified as football.
