Upvote: the things I want others to read.

Downvote: the things I'd rather see buried.

The nepo hire should've just kept his mouth shut. Doesn't know what he's talking about, doesn't understand activism, doesn't understand anti-consumer practices, and has fuck all to do with Europe.

A good start, a good message, but as long as they're still shipping weaponry that is being used to murder Palestinians, it's ultimately a drop on a hot plate. The list of companies in question is about 100 companies long. Most of these probably don't have anything to do with Maersk anyway.

I'm not saying they couldn't be. I'm saying that the official body meant to oversee this has not yet put out proof that they are. So we can imagine all we want. If the professional independent watchdog that is checking for this has not officially made a statement with undeniable proof that they are, they aren't.

Who has more insight in the matter, you or the IAEA?

[–] kcweller 2 points 6 days ago (2 children)

And it's on the IAEA to declare that they are indeed working on a weapons program, not speculation and assumption like yours.

Where is the evidence that they are working on a weapon? There are people getting murdered because people have become brainwashed enough to just assume Iran is working on a nukes.

I'm just saying, killing civilians on the basis of assumption is a pretty terrorist move and feels very similar to how Iraq was bombed to hell by America. But hey, that's just my 2 cents.

It's civilian scientists working on nuclear energy we are talking about.

You're part of the problem.

I fucking hated crocs when they came out.

And then I went on a canoe vacation in Sweden and now I swear by them 😂

Brand clothing plastered with logos of the brand.

I immediately know you're vacuous and live your life for the image you have for others instead of focusing on yourself.

It's time to stop believing the lies of Israel's might.

They assassinated people in Tehran, they don't have a special weapon that killed all of them simultaneously. The same lies about "special systems" like the iron dome being impenetrable has been their tactic to ensure pressure on their states.

Blijven gaan, blijven doen, blijven protesteren.

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some insights of my fellow riders. I'm starting to carry more tactile stuff with me, pens, paper, a calendar, a small driver kit, some small tools, etc. For this I want to start carrying a bag. I like the flexibility of a sling/messenger bag, but I'm looking for experiences with them on a bike.

  • Are they comfortable for commute driving (<45 minutes)?
  • How is quick access?
  • Do you use it outside of riding as well? I'd like it to be somewhat nice looking so I could carry it while walking / at music festivals for instance.
  • Any extra information or recommendations are definitely welcome!

I'd love to hear your insights!

Hey everyone,

Recently started with Arch, using Hyprland as a WM and Waybar as a statusbar. In the link I refer to a module page on the arch-wiki. There they refer to 'commands' when actions happen, for instance: on-click, on-scroll, etc.

How do I figure out what commands are available for that module?

In this case, I would like to reverse the scrolling from the default behavior. The backlight module has an option ' reverse-scrolling' baked in, but this one doesn't. So how do I figure out how to send what command to wireplumber through the scroll actions of the waybar module?

Kr

Kevin!

Solution:

I'm a bit dumb and it's any and all shell command, so the solution was

"wireplumber": {
    "on-scroll-up": "wpctl set-volume -l 1.0 @DEFAULT_AUDIO_SINK@ 5%-",
    "on-scroll-down": "wpctl set-volume -l 1.0 @DEFAULT_AUDIO_SINK@ 5%+"
},

Environmental damage goes bonk.
