I've never had great results with tesseract if the image has compression so the mixed background sounds like a nightmare. There is probably some JavaScript stream in there but good luck accessing it. BR is hot garbage for a standard.

An actual person that makes money with 3d printing and a product between TikTok and Teleport/Slant 3D's print farm service. Plus a product I didn't know was a thing.

Original YT description:

Scaling a 3D printing business can be difficult when a viral moment strikes—unless you have the right tools. When Craig’s Little Ouchie exploded in popularity, he faced a massive challenge: fulfilling thousands of orders in just days. With TikTok Shop requiring fast shipping, he was at risk of losing everything… until 3D Print-On-Demand saved the day.

Using Teleport, Craig connected his store directly to a fleet of 3D printers, instantly tapping into mass production without any upfront investment. No need to buy more machines, hire extra help, or stress over logistics—his viral success was fulfilled seamlessly.

This is the power of 3D Print-On-Demand. No inventory, no warehousing, just on-demand production at scale. Watch how Craig’s business thrived instead of collapsed and learn how you can do the same!

I think it is an interesting story, PTSD/Autism sensory product, and service to be aware of if one ever needed it. However, this is easily construed as marketing. If you watched and feel that is the case, down vote this post or better yet, leave a comment. I want to know how the community feels about this grey area between usefulness/informative post and marketed products. As far as my present mod stance, user account history is how I determine whether a post is guerilla marketing. Low engagement or lots of low effort interactions are indicative of a potential shill account.(original thumbnail was clickbait so I grabbed a screenshot of the numbers for ref)

It can't be filament or a clog. The length of each diagonal extrusion path changes, so it is impossible for that to align perfectly with a pattern on the build plate like this.

It could be contamination of the build plate, or an issue with sensor noise related to however the the bu checks for bed height. Depending on method of bed height sensing, it could also be related to bed leveling versus the sensor mapping resolution. Again, this is just a general hardware assessment. I don't know the specifics of how this machine works and have no interest in learning anything about it. Hardware wise these are the issues I can think of. It also looks like a high first layer to me, with an additional issue too.

Survive without punching my own timecard. In my situation, that is a lofty aspiration.

I hope to go through another phase of electronics hardware and circuit design. I would like to explore grassroots radio and try fabricating my own circuit boards with more than 2 layers.

Wasn't Yosoff on Lemmy for awhile after the API ditch?

The music industry collapsed. I don't know the details. She didn't make billions off of playing concerts, radio, or streaming.

No one that is super rich is an honest person. The image you see is fabricated by a whole company. The only way to get super rich is by screwing over a giant wake of other people. There are more talented people out there. The difference is that when she was faced with opportunity she chose what is best for her at the expense of all else.

In business, you will face these situations. I would probably still have my last auto body shop if I had missed by best friend's wedding and caused my apprentice to lose his house. This was what broke me. I lost my biggest account for my friend's wedding and I stretched myself too thin to make sure Eric kept his house. Then the used car market crashed out for 2 months straight in 2008 and I fell apart. This is small time. To be really successful, tell people what they want to hear then screw them over when they can't even whine or complain publicly. This is how Musk operates, and if you were to know the real Swift, you would find the same thing. These are ultra successful personalities in reality.

Looks like a boat, breaks like a boat...

72 hours or nearly so, and basically worked the whole time too. It was the first time my roommate gave me Adderall to try. I did around 2 weeks worth of work in my auto body shop, then slept like 14 hours straight. To top that off I was around 350 pounds too. A week later I was on the stuff legit. Three years later I was racing bicycles and under 190 pounds. Three years after that, I was disabled from a crash with 2 SUVs.

I need something like this, but I can't leave the house to go anywhere. Making friends with ExJW's might be more therapeutic.

Best advice I can give at 40 is simple: Don't worry or even think about dating anyone because of relationship reasons. Be the best version of you and make yourself happy first. If you are balanced and in a good place, you'll meet someone in similar straights and it will work out right.

Try volunteering in your community for a day. Just try it. Meeting people that are also volunteering is a good way to find great people that have the kinds of qualities that lead to life long friends. It will also put life in perspective.

Chasing relationships always lead me to bad places.

Be the best version of yourself. We are all a product of our environment and opportunities. We are all animals. We are all evil under certain circumstances. All any of us can do is be the best version of ourselves.

Like naming a boy "Maximus Efficiency Watts" for an easy EE career path. I would love the name Max Watts.

Like do the average Chinese people not know the party leadership? (genuine question and curiosity-thus asking .ml)

At least they do not know the exact reason, if they are even aware that they are dying. Just thinking of some war video footage and my own experience of the crash that broke my neck and back and almost killed me. And those that I have seen die. Some of this is a matter of mental state of awareness, or sudden onset of unknown factors to the individual, while others is a matter of an unseen assailant.

There seems to be a similar general demographic of late 30's to early 40's users here... (could easily be my confirmation bias saying that). I was around for Napster, GeoCities, MySpace, Yahoo, Mama, AoL, AiM, and if you are ~40yo, you likely were in this same wave of broad scale adoption of the internet by average Joe jr public in the latest 90's and early naughties. We are the first group where digital life is the rule, not the exception(s) and early adopters; the first gen of internet grandparents... How does that legacy play out. /r

I've messed with this dozens of times with various AI models that are generally good at abstractions with advanced prompting, custom diffusion settings outside of the typical, and some hacks in the model loader code. I seem to lack the vocabulary to describe the fundamental geometry of centrifugal gravity in the kind of depth required. Like how does one say that the road ahead curves up like a hill continuing overhead with the buildings anchored to...

I need language here that has unambiguous specificity and likely does not occur in any other context. Layperson verbosity will fail to get traction without fine tuning the model first. I prefer to explore what models can really do using settings and the prompts only.

Most of my vocabulary and understanding of geometry is limited to the Cartesian planes and CAD assemblies. Perhaps someone here has a better lexicon and doesn't mind sharing.

What was it like for someone that was:

  • not associated with anyone related to those persecuted by Nazis
  • generally apolitical
  • a homebody type that minds their own business, while feeling powerless and largely apathetic to a less than ideal government

Let's say they were unemployed since November of 1929 going into 1930 with a family, 2.1 kids, and a house, with a BA in basket weaving or something otherwise mostly useless that checks the boxes for middle management. What was life like before the Russian Bear got woke for those 12 years before and during the Nazis?

This is not a question of about parroted nonsense and cultural norms. I mean what end product do they produce that justifies their existence in the first place.

I'm physically disabled and have been living in a prison like situation for nearly 11 years. How does my situation balance into the ethics of prisons? I'm on a path to homelessness and a premature death due to institutionalized neglect and abuse from US institutions. Criminals are housed and fed in exchange for similar isolation, abuse, danger, insurmountable debt, and a largely unemployable and destitute future. These seem to conflict in ethics.

Already did my usual 16 mile physical therapy routine, so I did it again. Haven't gone over 26 miles in ~3 years. Me and the cats, dead in a bed rn, 2 brain cells between the three of us
