Title.

For more details, my keyboard and headphones work when I plug them to USB ports...but they disconnect when my mouse is plugged.

I tried to turn the pc on and off, It did not work.

Deleted some usb ports, keyboard and mouse drivers with only my keyboard and shut it off and on again. No fix from that either.

Seemingly, out of nowhere, my mouse decided to wage war against all other devices, what can I do? I will search for another mouse to try and see if this one is the villain while waiting for help.

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Important fact that I forgot to mention, while mouse kills other devices, mouse itself still does not work after being plugged.

Currently have all the components for my build, but I recently found out the motherboard I bought is a bad choice. I have an RTX 5090 FE and an i9 14900k, and I really need a solid motherboard that isn't crazy expensive like $700 plus. Trying to find the right one for around $400-$500. The one I bought is a MSI Pro z790-A Max WIFI, and have learned it's not gonna be good enough for thermals, and longevity. Does anyone recommend a good one that I don't have to worry too much about? I also need the i9, as I'm a very heavy video editor, so I need those extra cores.

Hello everyone. I have a brand new build, I was running cachy os on it (just trying something new) and then decided I wanted to go back to Windows. Everything was running fine, snappy as hell on linux, but after installing windows everything is running unbelievably slowly. Like 5-10 seconds to launch firefox type of slow. I think it might be an issue with my SSD, or at least an issue with how my SSD is working with Windows 11, when I pull up task manager my disk usage is locked at 50% usage, even when the total bandwidth is less than 5mb/s.

Some info about my computer:

CPU: AMD 7800x3D

GPU: AMD 9070 XT

SSD: Samsung 990 pro NVME 2tb

32GB 6000mhz vengeance RAM

Asus b650 plus prime motherboard

Windows 11 pro

Any ideas what could be causing my computer to run so slowly? It's everything. Huge lags of at least 5 seconds between any input and when the computer begins to respond.

I installed windows from an .iso from microsoft, booted from a usb drive.
