So recently I started having a weird problem with my monitor, when I move anything somewhat fast the image looks like missprinted?, idk something like that

the monitor and the graphics card are new but I don't remember seeing that the last time I used it, what could it be?

Here's a video of how it looks: https://imgur.com/a/sKmF22W

Specs: Cpu: Intel i5 10400f Gpu: rtx 4060 (I know bottleneck I'm saving for a better CPU) Ram: 16gb 3200mhz (8gb X 2) Memory: 2tb HDD (also saving for a better one) Monitor: lg ultragear 180hz.

If any other information is needed I will provide it

Hey guys, need some help.

I was installing Windows on my dad’s PC after replacing the NVMe SSD (swapped an old Lexar NM620 with a new WD Green SN350 1TB). While everything was running, my little brother accidentally bumped the case lightly with his leg, and the PC instantly powered off.

Now, when I press the power button, only the CPU cooler lights up for one second, then everything shuts off. No fans, no display, no power to USB — nothing.

Specs:

Ryzen 5 2600

RX 580 8GB

16GB DDR4

WD Green SN350 1TB NVMe (new)

PSU: 500W Ease (80+ Bronze, unknown Chinese brand)

Colorful B450M M.2 V14 motherboard

The PC worked fine before the NVMe swap

Any advice on what to check next? Really hoping nothing major

<Left is pro, right is elite>

I wanna start by saying I don't care if it's cheaper to build my own/more fun/etc. I've built my last 4 pc's and i want to give star forge a chance.

I'm torn between the navigator elite or the navigator pro. The price difference isn't crazy but can someone knowledgeable help me pick? Which is going to give me better performance, how big of a difference is between these pc's?

SGX enclaves are private areas of memory that essentially act as a secure black box and not even the operators of the service can see what’s happening inside.

But interestingly, "A pivot by Intel in 2021 resulted in the deprecation of SGX from the 11th and 12th generation Intel Core processors, but development continues on Intel Xeon for cloud and enterprise use". (suggesting Intel is keeping SGX on servers)

Has Mullvad ever considered using SGX? Or future plans to use it? Only asking 'cause it's been touted as a great feature for VPN.

Been using Mullvad for years, generally happy with the experience. I've had the odd captcha pop up on random websites (including Google) now and then, but since a month or so, they have increased dramatically. Is there anything I can do?

I have tried multiple different VPN servers, but haven't found one that doesn't keep causing captchas.

Does anyone know the polling rate of the inland mk pro v2 barebones because I don’t have a clue and I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks!

I haven’t really paid attention to new hardware, but now I’m curious. There are those insane NVIDIA RTX cards like the 4090 which have amazing performance with AI and all that shit. But why do so many people buy them? I have a 1060 and it still runs everything I want it to, never broke down, etc. Sure, there are some games which it doesn’t play at 100 fps, but I never really felt the need to replace it. Maybe I don’t play truly demanding games, I don’t know. Maybe when I finally upgrade I’ll truly notice the difference.

Anyways, why do so many people buy these new expensive cards if the old ones seem fine? I even have a friend with the newer 1650 and it seems to run worse than mine.

Should I think about upgrading or should I keep it?

I know the 800X3D is better but I want those 12 cores or else it will feel like a downgrade to my OCDs...
