Ah that's this one I think? It sounded like they've got a feeling for what's happening, so hopefully they'll manage to find out what causes it and fix it. Either way didn't sound like it was unfixed for lack of attention.

Yeah exactly! Get rid of that stupid tab bar - Chrome has it, so why should another browser? Tab groups? No use! Easy-to-use profiles? Chuck 'm out!
(aka even though Chrome does a lot of stuff that's wrong, not everything Chrome does is wrong by definition.)
Maar het helpt dat Nederland het initiatief nam, zeggen diplomaten, want Nederland staat bekend als goede vriend van Israël. Dat maakt het voor andere landen makkelijker zich aan te sluiten. En met zoveel steun kan de Europese Commissie een onderzoek niet meer tegenhouden, hoewel bekend is dat voorzitter Von der Leyen het niet ziet zitten.
Soms kan ik me eraan ergeren dat dingen traag gaan (zie ook bijv. klimaatverandering), maar politiek is helaas niet iets dat zich volgens natuurwetten voltrekt, en er is niet altijd een duidelijk beste strategie. Hoog inzetten helpt, maar wachten op het juiste moment soms helaas ook. En helaas is die situatie lastig te onderscheiden van de situatie waarin de zaak onnodig getraineerd wordt.
Please please please if this happens, institute reciprocal tariffs on services. Nobody would care if it becomes more expensive to advertise on Facebook, and we have a trade deficit in services.
(OK I guess lots of companies would care if their IT infrastructure gets more expensive, but 🤷)
These utopian comics are so hopelessly naïve.
I expect that Fakespot already had problems funding themselves, and thus they were a relatively cheap acquisition, and now it turned out they couldn't cover their own costs as part of Mozilla either. But I've never used it so I have no idea.
