I hate it because I also hate pretty much all the bots. Automatic postings, pedantic auto-correction bots... all of them absolutely fucking suck and have contributed directly to how shitty the internet has become.

So fuck bots, and double fuck bot creators.

You mean EX-president. Fucker doesnt deserve the respect of the title.

From the article "helping users dive deeper into products, shows, games" - that right there is their focus. It's spelled right out that it's going to be primarily an advertising platform.

Oh man, I'm so disappointed. The defaults don't even port over any of the "really good" MLP themes. Might be because DE versions have changed, but I remember there being a fairly well done (for a stupid gag anyways) Rainbow Dash theme for KDE4.

I mean, if I'm going to embrace the inner brony, why would I want the same generic looking "dark" theme every other offering has...

I think most eras were decent. I'm especially keen on everything post 8-bit, but pre-"everything is a monetized DLC; fuck you pay me" era.

Cryptobros, e-thots, and ads. That's Reddit these days.

Nah, I dont use it. In fact, I go through and disable almost all the "extra" stuff in any browser I install. I'm of the "Do one thing well" school of thought, so all these apps trying to do everything, all at once, just to keep you in "their" system? No thanks. Sync offers absolutely zero features that don't have better, alternative options already.
