There's some :chefs-kiss: reddit posts in those threads from these clowns crying about not being on the side with air superiority, technical advantage, a full modern military, etc. and expecting that they were gonna go to Ukraine basically as advisers, patrolmen, run recon missions, etc, not be missile fodder. Like they thought it was gonna be like an American in Afghanistan!

On the bright side, a lot of them were likely former US/Western Special Forces "operators", so everyone that gets corrected by a Russian missile is one fewer potential stormtrooper.

This sums up the American foreign policy project in general. People assume it's because of the Conservatives/modern GOP but it's actually deeply part of the "Progressive" movement. "Woke imperialism" has been then game of the game for 400 years because we Americans are morally righteous, a shining beacon of hope for all mankind, and we're gonna come save you and make sure you live a moral life too.
Ban every veteran from public employment and political office for life and put them all under FBI surveillance imo. Only way to be safe from our biggest domestic threat.
The imperialist state needs a casus belli. We're heading for another Cold War with China, and the Left needs to be ready to be AGAINST WAR, end of. Cold war style interventions are coming, the pro-Palestine demos were just the start. Everyone needs to be ensuring that their contacts and local communities are ready to say NO NO NO NEVER NEVER NEVER when the Democrats ask you to "protect human rights overseas" by making the world safe for further extraction.

First order of business is to teach local troops how to speak a proper language, English. Plus, the dumb Russians won't be able to understand transmissions in English and it's easier to distinguish the enemy.
