Holy shit, this happened at Christmas mass I went to. Basically only go for my grandma - and this was also pre egg crack for me, but it was in Florida and this priest starts going off on trans and gay people during the homily. Like wtf is wrong with you? I got up and left. I was so disgusted, I should have spit in his face. Fuck these people
Girl I'm so sorry :( I fear that my family will react the same way. It took a lot of courage to come out even when you thought this could be their response. You took a chance on them and they failed you. 
Pretty much Yeah. There was a post of a woman on reddit who had about 5k of stuff stolen from her and now she's turning to SW to make up the difference after the police wouldn't help/do anything. And many times a car, especially now, is more expensive than that.
