I get the 21 , but I'm not clear about the 100.

I assume you already discussed this with your players – I know that in my main player group just 2 of the 8 are willing to GM regularly, some will do oneshots, but also some freak out by the thought of having to lead a session.
I like the episodic approach, I've been thinking about that for my 2nd group since we only play once per month and it is hard for most to remember story elements that happened two or more sessiona ago (and note taking is hard 🤔).
On the other hand I like having some sort of continuity that might turn into an overarching story later on. Things like recurring NPCs, friendly or villainous. If there is no continuity at all, I fear it might turn uninteresting rather quickly.
But 'monster of the week' is an existing format (there's even a published game by that name)
Gennerelly accepted where ?
Phb page 37, on selecting languages, says:
Your character knows at least three languages: Common plus two languages you roll or choose from the Standard Languages table. Knowledge of a language means your character can communicate in it, read it, and write it. Your class and other features might also give you languages.
So your character gets at least three languages and also—so, additionally—what you get from other features like class or background.

Middle name is not a thing where I live. People can have 1 or more given names (I know of people that have 9), but none of these are considered 'middle name'.
Nice! I backed the kickstarter a few years ago. happy you like it!
Was this d&d 5e? Then the wizard must be at least level 15 before they can copy an 8th level spell into their spellbook, and copying a spell scroll destroys the scroll.
Did you save your party? Then, in my book, you did good.
Ttrpg's can definitely be used by therapists (e.g.see https://gametogrow.org/ ) but people in general should not underestimate the skill and training professional therapists bring to the table. Just playing an rpg is not therapy.
