Perhaps people on Lemmy are to young or to American to remeber the war in Bosnia. The stuff wannabee Ante Pavelic' did is beyond belief. And we just had a "Anniversary" for Srebrenica. People did fuck all then, and it's hardly spoke of. While I think the monsters of 46. SS grenadier division "IDF" should face a drumhead court-marshal and be lined up and shot, Gaza will be the same in 30 years

We are part of the EEA. The agreement between the EU and the remaining EFTA members. (Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Switzerland.) For Norway's part it means we adopt the legislation as national law (we can veto, but seldom happens) and are part of the inner market but not the customs union. Also special agreements on energy (oil) agriculture and fishing. We have no representation in the parliament or the commission. We participate on beurocratic level but cannot vote on anything. (I represent Norway in two 'group of experts" and two administrative cooperation groups) GoE discusses things on a higher level AdCo lower level and market surveillance. We have a voice, but always a little bit apart.

You get what you pay for. Chinese products can be top notch, but then it costs the same as any top notch product.

Those are movement dice from Baron of Dice. https://baronofdice.com/collections/battle-robots/products/movement-dice-set

They have more for "Battlerobots" as well. Outside the US the shipping can be quite high, I got mine on a larger order from a Norwegian gamestore.

Search for "movement dice battletech" on eBay as well.

For what?

For sheer utility I think Toyota HiAce 4wd long version. (Five seats) No need to pack for a trip. Just aim at the hatch. Five guys with bikes and gear? No problem. Large stroller? Just lift it in.

For family use: Mercedes V-class. The high end version (of an already high end car) with seats that can be turned, fridge, leather interior.

Family use and driving pleasure. Most likely a Mercedes AMG estate or BMW M sport tourif estate.

For the sheer pleasure of tinkering and the uselessness of it. El Camino

For just driving. Tough pick. But probably some GT car from Aston Martin, Ferrari, or similar manufacturer.

For track. A Lamborghini super car I can't drive and would spin out in first corner

Four mechs down (lemmy.world)

We played a game to brush up on the rules. 6000BV trying to stay in ca. 3025-3049.

He did not have time to prepare so went with four shooters-8A (all proxies) I went Battlemaster-1Gb, Black Knight-6b-KNT, Catapult-1C and my one stray into clan era with a Wraith-1.

Thanks to some seriously unlucky dice all four of his mech fell down thanks to one getting two crits in CT, two taking >20 damage and one missed kick. All failed pilot checks...

Never seen that before. Edit: we did play fast and loose since we were relearning rules and the LGS was closing soon.

If these kind of requests are not allowed I apologize.

I am looking for the name of a contemporary sci-fi TV show. American, English language. Its from between 2011 and 2016. Just one season as far as I know. The premise is that a matchmakers wife is "assumingly" kidnapped. Turns out he is the double (possible clone?) of an WW2 SS-officer, and are unknowing part of an larger world conspiracy. Trying to bring about the end if the world? I remember the last scene were one of the main antagonists (now blinded) are waiting in line to see a healer who was revealed in the show.

Edit: ChatGPT solved it.

In Norway are not blessed with many gamestores that actually carry BT stuff. Since we are not in the customs union ordering from other countries can often increase the price by quite a lot since we have to pay VAT on shipping and charge for custom clearance.

See that one local store have the Tactical Operation Books (Advanced Rules and Advanced units and equipment) but the image on the store are the fourth (Rules) and first printing (units). I am going there this sunday to see for myself, but are first printings still usable. See that the current ones are sixt printing for both.
