I wouldn't do it myself, but this just kinda feels like another aspect of the "free market" conservatives were so hot to peddle. Turns out there's more to life than just buying shit whenever people's rights start going down the drain. They're going to take it out however hey can, and I'm guessing they'll just keep resorting to more extreme measures. At least they aren't getting people killed like the pharmaceutical execs. Spray paint is a blessing by comparison.

Then I guess you could just sit back and see what happens lol

If this were the 1930s, Musk would be blaming Poland for not submitting to the Nazis in the same way.

What we need right now is for people to do anything at all, like this guy. I want to see you get arrested for what you believe in

Still got my fingers crossed that the next Pres will come in and fix it all with the same sort of quickness >.> lol

I'm sure the doctors will be forced to put them on the list. No doctor visits for women until they determine whether the pregnancy is going to kill them or not, because they'll be fuckd the second the State finds out.

Hopefully you no longer consider yourself a "conservative" because that party left you behind over a decade ago.

I think being "smart", combined with an ego, just makes you believe in your own bullshit even harder sometimes. It takes intelligence and humility to arrive at the right solution, and people don't want to admit they're wrong. A big part of intelligence is just making connections, and they use it to pick out the dumbest, most unlikely pathes and believe them because they're "smart".

Maddening.

Yeah, Costco is great. One of the few places I don't feel bad shopping at here in a red state.

Honestly, I don't want to buy anything at all anymore because I don't know which of the lot voted for Trump

I believe most people who voted for Trump were in a Russian disinformation bubble.

Doing this at least once or twice a year is sure to maximize the life expectancy of your refrigeration appliances.

I've found myself looking for a really good can opener. I purchased my last one, a KitchenAid, from Target and I've been disappointed in it the whole time. Sometimes it doesn't puncture the lid right, and it feels like it got rusty kinda fast--not at all what I want out of a utensil I hoped would last for a decade or more (who wants to keep buying can openers? lol).

I'm looking for a manual handheld can opener. I've always had the type that opens from the top, but a little bit of Googling shows that there are types that open from the side. I'm in the USA if that matters!

What does Lemmy think?
