Yeah, magazines would have made more sense.

Blocked for denying reality.
.ml is on of the most abusive and censored communities I have ever seen. While I generally agree with their anti imperialism it ends there.
When you install Windows 11 it suggests OneDrive, Office 365, and Gamepass. After it is installed it will push news articles and advertisements in your start bar. If you use Edge it will also land on a default web page used to advertise products, services, and media.
I think there are some distros of Linux like Ubuntu that does some of these things, but nowhere near what Windows does now.
Man imprisoned in 1900 and released in 1950 wonders why everyone reads newspapers and drives cars.
You have seen them wear I want to be grabbed by the pussy shirts? Words have become meaningless to them.
Linux didn't work on my random hardware!
Linux doesn't have proprietary program X!
Linux didn't work with my online game that forces you to install spyware on your computer!
Linux doesn't let you know all the latest movies, products, and deals!
Linux didn't make me agree to an EULA!
Something like that I guess.
I see that you are hurt, but lashing out at everyone is not helping. We probably agree on everything except blaming misinformed voters for their actions. We can agree to disagree here.
I think you are missing what I am saying. These people don't believe Trump has ever lied. I am serious about Fox News which is the most popular news station in America. For every lie they have an excuse and their own spin. If all you watch is Fox, which is quite common for a lot of people, you don't know about any of the bad stuff Trump has done.
You know better, they don't. Blaming them for their own ignorance is a luxury you are allowed because you see the truth. The answer is not to blame them, but to educate them. Unfortunately this is almost impossible when they have constant propaganda rammed down their throats.
I think you may be blaming the victim here in your anger. This does not solve the problem however cathartic it may be. I don't pretend to have the answers either, but my perspective is a lot more nuanced than yours.
While I do agree with your sentiment you must realize these people have been lied to. Try watching 24 hours of Fox News and see what their worldview is. Now imagine this is all the news media someone who is disabled may consume.
Your anger is justified, but it is perhaps misdirected in this scenario.
Nice ninja edit. Oh look someone else to block.
I remember all those kids going door to door selling magazine subscriptions when I was a teenager. Obviously people still buy them. I think my wife got a Vogue last time we traveled but that was a few years ago and we had not bought one since we last traveled a few years before that.
So we have bought two magazines in the last five years or so. I would be interested to see just who is still buying them. I read somewhere that they are more popular than newspapers.
