Ever since someone framed the stonks-down market as just a measurement of rich people's feelings, it's made a lot more sense

I took the Android leap from Apple about six years ago and never looked back. Androids are superior in almost every way when it comes to privacy and customization

Apple stopped being innovative around the time Steve Jobs died; each update is just more ways to spy and spam you with a slightly better camera. I will say iPhones are very user friendly, so there is like a 20 min learning curve converting from Apple to Android.

Also not sure where you are getting your phone plan, but there's only 3 tower providers in the US now. Verizon, At&t, and T-Mobile. I'd avoid any of those as a carrier because they tend to overcharge.

Low cost carriers still operate service under 1 of those 3 company's towers, so you'll still get the same service but at a cheaper price. I use Boost Mobile, $50 a month with no hidden fees, month-to-month and somehow the price hasn't gone up in five years.

This is like a 2k era celebrity excuse, surprised they didn't pull the ol' Lindsay Lohan dehydration

AB+ Gang rise up. Universal recipients (sigma parasite) and universal plasma donors. When receiving blood sometimes I'll mix A, B, and O just to flex.

I have an app for work that uses wifi scanning to track my location. It basically wants a location update every hour so it can geotag my location. If the data is too far apart between where I am and where I'm supposed to be, it creates a red flag.

Ive deduced its because of wifi scanning. Tried a GPS spoof which seemed to work once I turned off wifi and wifi scanning.

But now if I disable wifi scanning, the app insists I turn it back on and it refuses to work. Any feasible workarounds for this? Android device.

Hey Hexbear

Like to think I do an ok job keeping my desktop setup secure, but realized recently I don't do the same for my mobile devices.

Does anyone have any good tips how to help keep your phone more private and secure?

I have both an android and iPhone, and realize androids are superior to that sort of customization. Thought it might be useful tho if anyone had any tips for either though.

There was a "reality" show about this called "Pig Royalty" about two rival Texan families who competed in pig showing competitions like this. It was made by the same production company as Breaking Amish so that's why "reality" is in sarcastic airquotes. It's basically two seasons of this with some manufacturered drama peppered in.

It got canceled after the second season and has since been scrubbed from Discovery+ streaming (v sus). Also, one of the kids on the show committed suicide in 2024 very heartbreaking

For me, it's the drive thru-- makes the boomer kids lazy, wasting gas, environmently unfriendly, no thank you. I'll physically walk into the fast food lobby for reconstituted pink chicken slime as nature intended.
