I don't want to be mean, but I think it's a bit naive that a German citizen would be able to sue the US gov with the current checks and balances

Thanks for the reply. I'll check out John Defrancis for sure! Not eligible for the student discount sadly. I'll try mailing, seems like a smart idea. I also considered doing the same for HelloChinese, as I ran out of free stuff there and missed out on the CNY sale there too.

Thanks a ton again!

How good is DuChinese as paying vs free user? I just started and already ran into a paywall. The premium seems quite expensive.

Lemmy feels increasingly filled with AI bots pushing pro-Russian anti EU narratives.

If you watch the explanation in the link, you can see that these videos are not even video edited, just changed audio. No AI required, just windows movie maker. How are people falling for this in 2025?

Thanks so much!

According to their website they can prolong your temporary contract multiple times, way more than the government would usually allow. Can anyone shine some light onto how this is legal?

Fase A duurt 52 gewerkte weken en fase B maximaal drie jaar. Er mogen zes tijdelijke contracten in deze periode van drie jaar worden gegeven. Een contract in fase C is een contract voor onbepaalde tijd.

Thanks, this is the first time I've seen this explained!

I'd be interested in seeing an example or two if you have the time

Also Kona owner here (EU), I dont get a lot of beeps. I think you can turn some of them off in settings. No clue what the hacking is like.

Eu kona 64 kwh here, very nice car imo. Fast chargers hit 30-50kw, altthough I usually charge at home. No range issues so far, but no big roadtrips. Check if you need the 3 phase one for faster charging without DC.

I've been greatly enjoying leagues so far! My choices were Harvest - Fairy - Fire sale - Mage - Farmers - Berserker and last not yet unlocked, but I havent had any regrets yet. This feels like a sign that the options are decently well balanced this time around and that there are no wrong choices (walkers?).

My regions are Kandarin Desert Kourend and again here I feel like this was a fun choice. I do feel like Kandarin was nice for early exp, but might not be requires for late game damage as I first thought. Are there any mages that skipped Kandarin? And how are the other builds playing so far for rangers and melees?

Does anyone here have experience comparing the times of the Garmin race predictor for different events? I know that usually it slightly overestimates me or that I haven't been able to run the time yet, but I'm curious how the estimations compare for different distances.

Or otherwise in general, what are your thoughts on sports-watch/app generated predicted race times?
