Its very appropriate, after all Picard was the one who figured out how to communicate via memes.
It's also a completely unplanned coincidence (because I didn't know how active I was going to be when I signed up for Lemmy), but "The Picard Maneuver" in Trek gives the appearance of being in two places at once.
