Fedizenship
The hard part for me is finding ways to link to the fediverse outside of the fediverse. So far I've not done it because I don't go outside the fediverse much anymore.
Funny part I've shared only bunch of posts on the discord server that I'm active on and as lemmy posts embed so well, few people got interested and made accounts!
I'm still stuck in the old reddit mindset of never ever fucking talk about reddit if you mention reddit people will think you're a fedora wearing atheist racist.
Why so many accounts?

I’m not judging
One is main account. The other one is one I made when I did not know fediverse actually works xD. The last one is the one I made in the server closer to my location to have faster loading times. That's it!
Real talk the fediverse is the new wave, it’ll only keep growing as other platforms keep self sabotaging and ruining themselves
Just the fact that it's immune to corporate needing to impress their shareholders is the biggest encouragement. Having been skipping from one collapsing social media network to another for last decade and a half, it'll be nice just having something safe from external pressures.
True feels like I am doing what I did 10 years back - fascinated about the new social networks. Facebook, twitter, pinterest back then. Lemmy, Kbin, Mastodan, Pixelfed now.
My mastodon account currently has ~2.2k toots, but I've been on fedi longer
