How in the world do y’all manage to get into so many? Granted I’ve not put in a ton of effort, but every time I look into getting into a private tracker, all methods seem closed or dead.
I followed /r/opensignups and jumped on a few. I did pay to get into IPT as my first, though. Worth it, imo.

What is a private tracker?
A tracker (a server/website used to track torrents uploaded to it by members; torrent clients require these tracker servers to know how to download the torrent) that is private (not freely accesible to the general public, typically needing a registered account).

I’ve actually been looking for a private tracker.
I'm using TL and cannot for the life of me keep a decent ratio. My speeds just cannot compete against seedboxes. Even idling in the IRC waiting for fresh content hasnt helped. YMMV
What I used to do was look for high activity free leech, and then let it seed for a few weeks.
It doesn't have anything to do with speeds mate, it's easy to keep a good ratio on TL by downloading freeleech content and seeding it for 10+ days. It doesn't even have to be content you want. Just keep it seeding and you'll rack up big numbers, which you can then exchange for upload credit.

I seed, I have a 1.5 ratio on IPT and I didn't buy it. I do use the bonus points but I mean, c'mon, the'yre there!
Been looking to get off IPT though because of the owners sketchyness, so I've been recently looking for a new "home."

I would absolutely be interested in this as well. When What.cd and Empornium shutdown I migrated over to Usenet, but I have really missed the wide availability of torrents since then.

In the middle of a move, I hope to homelab a setup at my new location but currently a newb (essentially). Can't use this yet but upvoting for coolness.
