Every state is different, but stealing over $1k over any period of time with no statute of limitations is a felony in our state.

This means if a board nefariously misappropriates a total combined $1k over any course of time, it would seem to be collectively guilty of a felony.

Some places prosecutors are busy with other crimes. But many places have prosecutors salivating over throwing the book at any little thing they can. Time to start having meetings with prosecutors.
