Downing Street has urged people not to take part in a protest in support of the banned group Palestine Action as police warned they would arrest anyone breaking terrorism laws.

Palestine Action has been banned under terrorism laws, and this weekend a large event protesting against its proscription has been organised by the group Defend Our Juries.

I really hope so.

But we can't even prosecute Netanyahu. How on earth are we going to go after those enablers of genocide?

i suspect we're going to be forced to forgive them like we've "forgiven" the american govn't of old for what they did to the native americans.

@eldavi
Or giving them medal of honor like they gave to George Bush for invading Iraq and starting the "war on terror" that cost over 4 million lives in the past 24 years

I give 90% odds Sir Kier turns out to be an Epstein island enjoyer. His best friend (and current UK ambassador to the US) Peter Mandelson has already been revealed as an Epstein client. Maybe we can get him for the pedophilia.

Keir Starmer’s official spokesperson said: "[...] those who seek to support this group may yet not know the true nature of this organisation, but people should be under no illusion this is not a peaceful or non-violent protest group."

Not sure if this is the Guardian's mistake or Number 10's, but the missing colon totally flips the sentence on its head. Emphasis mine.

Saw a video of the protest in Japan, it was one of the largest protests in Japan's history, but it is not getting much attention or publicity.

@faab64 @palestine@lemmy.ml @palestine@a.gup.pe History will judge who’s on the right side. However, those who justify genocide seldom are

Oh what a shame it would be, If Downing Street burned in a fire
