I can't help but see some Nichijou similarities, this time regarding whole scenes:

Tatewaku thinks he is speaking with this future self, some kind of magic/supernatural event. He tries to figure out if it is real or not (badly). This is similar to when Nakanojou tried to figure out the fortune teller.
The scene of Tsurubishi going to the restaurant is similar to the Yukko in the coffee shop scene. They visit a shop but are taken aback by the ordering process. Now that I think of it this also includes the scene at the bakery. On a separate note I really liked the menu with the hentaigana/cursive kana calligraphy. I don't know how accurate it really is but the general shape and flow of it looks good. Certainly one of the most beautiful calligraphy styles and not seen often in anime (the big brush type of style is seen more often).
The chase scene is obviously similar to the Nichijou chase scene.
