FHOA: FYI some manager(s) out there seem to be convincing people that their status as "agent" (for service of process) is above the board, instead of subservient to it ... The board, being either clueless / lazy, invested in maintaining their business inside the HOA, and/or potentially receiving kickbacks, goes along with it ...

I'm sure you've heard plenty of news about lots of HOA out there, I've witnessed it at several, so I'm wondering how common this bamboozle is.

Does this sound familiar to any of you: Manager: "I'm an Agent of the HOA, and therefore insert ruse here."

Especially anything along the lines of obfuscating, denying or delaying access information by blocking meetings, elections, interfering with standard operations, etc. etc.

If there is any standardized training on managers as agents, please enlighten us regarding how this would normally be handled.
