Seems like hiding the DOT number should be illegal. Why the fuck else would they have it on the truck in the first place?
It is illegal, but that'd require them to enforce against themselves. As the regulators are federal (Trump) or state (Desantis).
Call the local cops. 911 will have to stop the truck, and see what is going on. May not get them aressted or a fine, but it slows them down, and gives opportunities to identify these traitors.

No need. When you see them doing anything illegal, report it. The local cops will have to investigate, and even if they don't issue a citation, or arrest them, their ID will be run, and the cop's camera footage is subject to FOIA requests. We can identify them without putting ourselves in danger, or alerting them that they are being watched.
Uh huh, sure, I'm sure the FLORIDA cops especially would totally follow the law and not help cover stuff up. As we all know, the US government has been doing nothing but following the law recently after all.
They're going to cover up some, but there will still be info leaking out despite their best efforts.
