Comic panels taken out of comics so we can make fun of them!! We love the golden age stuff!

Rules:

  1. Comics must come from actual comic books. No AI or Photoshops.

  2. Single panels are preferred.

  3. Comics should be unintentionally funny. Spider-man cracking wise is not what this is about.

  4. Don't be a dick.

  5. I can't believe I've had to add this... NO RACISM.

'Of course mother....." He said as he played with the 3 atomic wafers he stole from school in his pocket. "One day they'll know" he thought to himself, "Yeah, then they'll know my name".

[–] SlartyBartFast@sh.itjust.works 1 points 10 hours ago

They'll think he's insane, but they'll all know his name

A "kilowat" is the amount of "wat?" I had when I read this.

software quality is measured in "wtfs per hour"

[–] klu9@piefed.social 10 points 1 day ago

That’s in the timeline where Marty succeeded in retrieving and burning the almanac.

We’re in the one where Biff shot and killed Marty in plain sight on 5th Avenue, and no one said anything.

But... The only reason Doc Brown came back was because the future was fucked...

Junior is actually 40 years old .... the radiation has severely stunted his growth.

Uranium has magnificent anti aging properties!

[–] Dasus@lemmy.world 3 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Eat a spoonful and you'll never have to age again!

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 2 points 10 hours ago

It's so great that even the bacteria and fungi will stop aging!

Except that it works via the mass of thousands of pebbles and

This system was plagued with problems and the technology was abandoned.

Is that a third arm he grew from his stomach

You absolutely know little Thombert has "Low Shoulder Syndrome" and the accompanying self-esteem issues about it. You are cruel. You can clearly see his freakish sunken shoulder on the side facing us such that his elbows (while actually symmetrical and aligned with each other) are monstrously below where they might be on a more normal, healthy, American child.

For shame on you, for mocking Thombert's grotesque condition. For shame.

[–] MonkderVierte@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 day ago

I mean, with all the atomics, no surprise.

The wafer has a wax-coated lead cover that pops into a garbage chute once it's empty.

[–] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 2 points 9 hours ago

It goes in the recyclables!

Only a tenth of a Cent per kWh?

Sure, unless you do all those things that make nuclear energy (mostly) safe, in which case it will beamong the more expensive options for electricity again. Also, just transferring the electricity via the grid to your home will cost many times that, regardless of the energy source.

[–] SpaceNoodle@lemmy.world 10 points 1 day ago

That's why they do it in the home.
