Our site condo association refuses to enforce the bylaws.
One of the first homes built seven years ago still only has sod but zero landscaping, even though it’s clearly stated in the bylaws that sod AND landscaping are required to be installed within 6 months after construction is completed.
Everyone else is compliant except that one home, and the board president says she won’t do anything about it because “they are nice people and personal friends.”
Trash cans sit out in plain sight because she “doesn’t like that bylaw” that says keep ‘em hidden.
There are homes delinquent on dues but “such nice people shouldn’t be bothered about that.”
I could go on and on.
Basically, if she doesn’t agree with a bylaw, it doesn’t get enforced.
The association is small and she & her cronies on the board just won’t do their jobs.
You can’t get on the board because they’ve got a chokehold on votes.
Can’t afford to move…so what’s the answer?
