So I will be going there from a neighbouring country :) I’m going for pike, zander, perch or cat-fish whatever will be on. Funny thing is I’m reuniting with one of the few alive relatives I still have who happens to be a former fishing champion so I hope to learn some things as fishing is quite difficult these days. Anyhow I’m super hyped for tomorrow :)

And it was quite a nice opening. Despite the absence of wind and the presence of A LOT of other fishermen I got some nice catches :)

All in all it was a blast :)

Great Fish, from a fisherman across the Atlantic. Do you all have the giant perch over there? I have always been interested in catching one.

Giant perch? If you’re referring to barramundi definitely not. Would be fun though but as far as I know those are from the eastern part of the continent.

As far as giant predator fish we only have species of catfish (silurus glanis) which can span a couple of meters. Personally got on 1.8m. On a bellyboat so that was a fun moment.
