You owe it to yourself to pick up a soft serve machine to sate that ice cream obsession. Real homemade ice cream is so much better than that packaged slop.
Ultra Processed Food
Welcome! This is a space for people who want to limit or eliminate ultra-processed foods (UPFs) from their diet.
Scientific research has shown strong links between the chemicals and additives used by major food corporations and a range of negative health outcomes, including:
- Cancer
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Obesity
- Mental health issues (like depression and anxiety)
This community is here to raise awareness, share resources, and support each other in choosing real, whole foods over heavily processed alternatives.

that thought had crossed my mind while writing this post! one day.
I'm glad you made this sub. It's great to see more activity around human nutrition.
I've been doing single ingredient foods for almost a year now and have seen massive health improvements.
I read Ultra Processed People and felt duty bound. And well done you'd probably have a lot to say about it all, feel free to post tips and tricks, recipes, articles or whatever you feel can help like minded people 😁
Yeah, I've been outraged at how totally wrong the ultra-processed lifestyle is. It's so ubiquitous it feels normal, and not having factory food makes me feel like the outcast.
I'm so glad I found this way of eating and living!
