My partner has never seen any form of Star Wars content despite being nearly 40 and therefor took some convincing but we both love it now because it's good revolutionary shit.
She's watched it with me she just keeps putting off watching more >:C
I am so sorry. Twd fell of after season 1. S2 is ok, S3 is trash, S4-5 are somewhat ok. The rest afterwards? Nah best to not waste your time with that.
My main problem with the show is I don't like constant tension and bad shit happening, it's even more Everything Sucks All The Time than fucking gambo thrones was, so it's hard to relax watching it.
And they fucked up by trying to make it all sciency with the CDC in the first episode, because the more you think about how the zombies work the less it makes any fucking sense. They should have just gone with "a wizard did it" and had evil dead zombies
They replaced Wiltshire estate arc with the cdc arc in the show. In the original comics, the whole sciency aspect is absent. But I guess they really couldnt do that arc justice anyway, since carol is a vastly different character, dale and andrea were never going to hook up, tyresse wasnt introduced yet and an entire family of characters is missing.
Also the OG theme in the comics was the resilience of the human spirit and hope or something. Its not really suppossed to be a feel good show honestly.
There's lots of hot people in it, so you could always sell her with whoever she would want to watch (Diego Luna was the selling point in my house).

That's the problem, like we watched the first season but only got halfway through the second episode and she hasn't wanted to go back to it 
I'm so sorry lol. It's been hard dodging spoilers being just a little behind, can't imagine how rough it is being near the beginning still.
At least I have the new Gundam show to voraciously watch as it comes out.

I think there are like half a dozen walking dead shows currently airing. They expanded hard. I watched the first few seasons at university and one of my buddies there just absolutely loved zombies and special effects. He didn't care about the story at all but watched it religiously. I can imagine there are tons of people like that who love all the shows.
The main show ended like a year or two ago. But there are a bazillion very bad spin-offs
I guess there's spinoffs but we never watched it originally
I think it got like 2 new spin offs
I literally had to block Yuritopiaposadism until I finish the season

It truly is the DS9 of Star Wars. Too bad they didn't opt for 4 seasons tho.
