Stop being an accelerationist.

It's not progress, it's theft, a waste of resources and a threat to human creativity as soulless corporations stop seeing value in artists when GenAI can push out soulless art from shamelessly stolen sources and be "good enough".

Generative AI as it is today has also led to a massive transfer of wealth from the workers to the ultra wealthy and has helped the ultra wealthy hold onto that wealth better by feeling like they don't have to pay employees anymore.

LLMs are not inherently bad when open-source and ethically trained and run, but image generation has little purpose beyond putting artists out of work and shifting wealth. If it's not to put artists out of work, image generation has been used to deceive and manipulate people into getting scammed or believing misinformation.

It's our job to put our foot down and refuse. I'm putting my foot down and refusing.

I want human interactions in my communities, I don't want to talk to GenAI or about AI-generated content.

The artstyle looks like Herge (the creator of Tintin).

Some people created an entirely new Tintin story by manually tracing images from previous books. This could have / should have been created the same way.
