Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!
Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style. Matt Melvin left C&H in 2014, and several other people have contributed to the comic and to the animated shorts

About this community and how I post the comics⦠Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net/) and a an extra or two randoms.
Subscribe to all the daily comic communities!
All comics posted are freely available online. In no way is the poster claiming ownership, copyright or anything else. This is a not for profit community, we just want to enjoy our comics, thank you.

Yeah, there's no redeeming quality to this strip. Matt Melvin is the artist and has a series of C&H strips like this and I think is trying to do over-the-top humor like this one but isn't really getting it:
If anyone thinks we should do a different posting order for the old ones (i.e. random from all of C&H instead of sequential), it'd be good to hear feedback here: https://discuss.online/post/17098553
well, i'm not saying it shouldn't be posted. these old C&H comics are kind of a time capsule. As long as we aren't glorifying the mistakes of the past, those mistakes should be put on display ._.
Unless there was something relevant politically or socially at the time so it would be a reference to that event at that particular time, maybe, which would be lost 20 years later. Otherwise yes, doesn't make much sense.
Rape was a fricking recurring gag in this artist's comics.
That is not funny at all.
I'm GenX. We kinda grew up with humor like that. Where you could joke about absolutely anything. But we weren't all monsters. We probably just weren't sensitized enough that many topics actually really happen and affect peoples lifes and even trigger them. Many of us learned better, some gave that shit to their kids.
I've seen black holes that weren't this dark.
