Mullvad VPN

Hi hi, I just have a quick question about Mullvad.

I only need a vpn for 1-2 months.

1. Am i understanding correctly that I can just charge my account with 5€ per month, and if i dont charge it there wont be any consequences? I just wont be able to use it? (Or is it a monthly payment for 5€ per month? )

2. assuming that mullvad is based on just charging your account whenever you need a vpn access, i dont have to cancel any subscriptions after 2 months? My account just keeps existing until I delete it?
