It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

Honda came to the two-wheeled EV market late, but it's working to turn that into an advantage by improving on what its competitors did wrong. Here's how.

Personally, I've never found a compelling reason to invest in a motorcycle over an e-bike: If I need to get somewhere far, fast, I use a car because it has waaaaay more hauling capabability.

They're really cool and look like a lot of fun, but past 28mph I very much prefer the relative safety of a cage full of airbags, crumple zones, tempered glass, ABS, and a gamut of other safety features.

I've had a bike fail at 25mph and I'm still healing from it, can't imagine what it would've been like at twice the speed even with full gear.

The difference in crashes between a bike and motorcycle are serious, but that just means you have to gear up correctly. Full face helmet, leathers or kevlar suit, full boots and armored gloves, etc.

Riding an electric motorcycle with bike gear on is a bad, bad idea. Riding an electric motorcycle with motorcycle gear on and the danger evens out.

Even with full gear, motorcycles are dangerous as fuck. Riding with bike gear on is a step away from full on squid lol, just slap some sandals on and you're good to go

No, it's cars that are dangerous ,as they are to cycllists and pedestrians, speaking as somone who has ridden motorcycles for 40 years.

More than one thing can be dangerous, but yeah, vehicles like cars and trucks are more dangerous to pedestrians, riders, etc.

Motorcycles are dangerous too, but mostly just to the rider.

Full protective gear is not a step away from "full squid," unless that "step" is the difference between life and death. A biker in full gear a lot safer than "shirts and sandals." Comparing the two as equivalent just incentivies people to not protect themselves.

Modern (i.e expensive) motorcycle tech includes airbag systems that inflate to protect the neck, torso, hips and legs.. You really can make motorcycles much safer than just a few years ago, but you have to gear up for it.

No, wearing bicycle safety gear on a motorcucle is a step away from sandals lol

Full gear is a very good idea for motorcycles and even modded ebikes
