They are right, but only because I haven't bought a Ubisoft game in decades.
But I was a good boy and bought my game instead of pirating it
Part of me wants the games industry to completely poison any incentives to buy their shitty games. You pay premium prices for non-premium, rushed products that you don't even actually own and can legally have taken from you at any point of the publisher's choosing, which are themselves advertising venues for obnoxious micro-transactions.
So if I don't own it, then it can't be stolen from me.
