I didn't realise just how lovely 90s anime comedy skits being rendered in PS1 JRPG silent film form could be chefs-kiss

The two frame animation of her banging on the fucking door, it's like a shitpost michael-laugh

What an incredible little game this continues to be, A+

Threads of Fate (AKA Dewprism), a platformer/very light action RPG from SquareSoft. It looks and sounds great and the writing is wonderful. It's got two player characters you can choose from with their stories having different tones. One is played more straight while the other is mostly comedic.

The game is very light and breezy and both stories can be completed in under 20 hours

Cool. It sounds a lot like Folklore, another obscure favorite of mine for the PS3. There seems to be a clear connection of inspiration between them.

Folklore

I'd never even heard of this one. Might check it out since I haven't gotten too much use out of RPCS3
