Have you tried converting it to a webp first? That usually solves it for me.

I often get an error when uploading pics I've taken on my pixel - figured out it's something to do with the motion capture thing it does to get the best shot, the way to fix is just crop the photo a little, that forces it to resave as a single image and then it works fine
I've never been able to successfully upload a photo. You can just hotlink to an image hosting site instead by using this format:

(You can add an optional alt text in the brackets to help the visually impaired if you like.)
Edit: What it looks like:
Which error are you getting? Lemmy can be weird sometimes! If you're getting an invalid token error the only means of rectifying it that I've found is to make the image both small in resolution and also a JPEG.
Also, thanks for making me hungry! 😂
What's the error? I had issues trying to upload photos taken on my pixel 3a. They were getting blocked by cloudflare. I traded some messages with an admin and even provided a raw photo. They looked into it, found something, adjusted it, and... still no dice.
I have no issues with my new OnePlus 12. For my 3a, editing the photos in any app, even just to very slightly crop them, would remove whatever was going on.
Thumbnail showed Meatloaf, mash, and yams. Was pleasantly surprised.
From the image, the left could have been carrot, the center piece pineapple, and the right one something black pudding-ish. The usual cafeteria dog food.
Could be papaya, pineapple and blood sausage.
It's clearly chocolate cake, pineapple, and carrot.
It's not a carrot, it's papaya.
The other ones are on point.
I don't know what you are looking at, it is clearly pineapple and cheese with some homebake artsy grain black bread and a smear of dijon mustard.
Both options would be delicious
Are you in Brazil?
The food is.
