This is definitely something that concerns me.. I know my instance isn’t big and will take a while to really gain traction, but having instances with delays that far back is crazy to me.

I know there have been many issues raised with LemmyNet devs about changing the architecture, but that would need to be a fundamental change to ActivityPub directly.

A better synchronization mechanism has been implemented in the current versions of Lemmy, but Lemmy.world still has to update.

Share the same sentiment. Id rather use my own communities then be beholdin to other communities strict rules. Allows for more freedom and less worry about being banned.
