Just watched it. Good trippy thriller, and a tight 90 minutes. Don't want to say too much about it, it's one of those movies you're better off going in blind for.

If anyone else has seen it, any other similar movies you'd recommend?

One of my favorites, I always recommend to friends who want something spooky but not outright horror

Hold on ... A moment ago you said you didn't like it ... And weren't you wearing a red shirt before?

Editor's note: This comment was taken as close as I can remember to verbatim from one I saw on Reddit back when this movie was newish.

yes! I just convinced my mom to watch it 2 weeks ago and he loved it.

I can't remember how I originally stumbled upon it, but it is great to see it being promoted.

and absolutely right about going in blind.

similar movies...i keep thinking I should rewatch Triangle from 2009, definitely similar vibes.

the endless from 2017 Is also similar.

oh, primer kind of fits. from...'04.

The Endless is how it found it. I was looking for similar low budget horror/suspense movies, and it was recommended. So glad I watched it, cause goddamn, what a movie.

On the topic of The Endless, I love the director duo of Benson and Moorhead. All of their movies are worth watching (maybe not Synchronic, but that may just be me). My favorite is Spring, though. Fucking love that movie.

oh I didn't know that was the same guys, spring is on my watch list right now.

in terms of horror, I recommend the void from 2016.

It's a real good weird not too high budget horror movie with a good story and twists.

I bumped Spring up to the top of my list.

the void from 2016.

You are the second person in as many days to recommend that to me. Guess I know what I'm watching next...

That's funny, well that other recommender was also correct.

it definitely sounds right up your alley.

enjoy.

So, as someone with adhd, all the small details that made it work didn't really work for me. It was well acted and I liked the concept, but the little details just weren't obvious enough to stick with me.

I would strongly recommend Primer, if Coherence was gratifying. To me, Primer and Coherence go hand-in-hand as equally hidden gems in the Sci-Fi space.

Primer is really good but super confusing too. I am not sure it really makes sense and yes, I have seen the charts that people made online. But its a very different take on time travel and that makes it a good watch.

This looks right up my alley. Putting it on my watchlist because I love unique sci-fi.

You won't be disappointed! I envy your opportunity to enjoy Coherence for the first time, lol.
