- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

I'll believe in an intelligent Republican when they stop voting against their own interests.
Yup. Americans voted for malicious, oligarchy Republicans, they got malicious, oligarchy Republicans and the damage is permanent now. Hope everyone in America likes being sick and dead with bird flu because there's no CDC left to help.
But will the "critics" vote for someone else? I have my doubts.
That's the thing isn't it? Far too many people seem to NOT really learn lasting lessons about just who and what the redcaps are. Far too many make it an identity thing, no matter what the redcaps in power do to harm them: "I voted for Republicans, but I didn't expect this to happen" seems to be a common refrain.
It might be acceptable if they were 18-20 kind of age range, but I hear this kind of thing from people way, way older than that.

Why is NBC withholding the more provocative questions being asked at this town hall?
That’s not even provocative. That guy, and any rep allowing all this to happen, should be uneasy and uncomfortable when speaking to the public. Nothing will change when they smile like that at these meetings. The states aren’t getting any rights, they’re losing them.

It will be: no more town halls. Or if they do have town halls, there will be loyalty tests given to any would-be attendees....
