Go look up which car companies have dabbled in the area of subscription models. Some are luxury car companies, where it's to be expected... Some I did not expect, such as Nissan, Toyota, and Volvo.

I feel like if someone came out with a car that respects your privacy and doesn't pull shit like this they'd sell the hell out of it, but then again the average consumer seems willing to roll over and take it so here we are
I already have this feature in my Pacifica. When there is a weather alert that fucker pops up every time I stop. And it can't be disabled, and since I am a USA citizen I can't demand they remove my radio modem from their database and to block data going to it. Sirius and FCA both say the other is at fault. The only thing I can do is disconnect the antenna and hopefully it won't freak out on me.
