I noticed too. It happens, because the cursor is "turned on" in the search field (the 2nd tab) when you search something, but doesn't turn off automatically. It keeps waiting for input.
Tapping on a result will turn it off and will no longer open the keyboard after going back from a post of viewing an image. Clearing the app from recents also has the same effect.

Hi there! We're already tracking this issue here and have resolved it.
A new minor version will be released in the next couple of days to fix a few issues with v0.6.0!

Hmm, closed out the app, reopened, not doing it any more. Put it down as an intermittent bug!
